Is 350 points a good score for Canada PR?

You can get Canada PR with 350 points if you apply through the Provincial Nominee Program. Canada offers various ways to get Canada PR. Depending on your CRS score, you can apply for Canada Express Entry or Canada PNP). The cut-off scores for the Express Entry draw are usually 500-800 points, which was observed in the latest Express Entry draws conducted in 2025. However, PNP draws conducted by some Canadian provinces have lower CRS requirements. Candidates with lower CRS scores can apply through these PNPs to get Canada PR. 

What is Canada PNP? 

Each Canadian province is authorized to nominate candidates for Canada PR through the Canada Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Candidates will receive provincial nominations based on the specific skills needed in that province. 

While some provinces, such as Quebec, prefer candidates with French language proficiency, other provinces have a higher demand for different skills. Candidates who meet the skill requirements may be eligible for a provincial nomination even if they have low CRS scores. 

 Which PNPs require a low CRS score?

If you have a CRS score of less than 400 points, you can apply for the following PNP programs:

·        Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

·        Prince Edward Island Nomination Program (PEI PNP)

·        Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)

How to apply for Canada PNP? 

You can apply for the Canada PNP in two ways listed below:

Canada PNP Application through Express Entry: You can apply for Canada PNP through Express Entry linked streams offered by some Canadian provinces. 

Canada PNP Application Directly to a Province: If you want to apply to a specific province, you can create a profile on that province's official PNP site and wait to receive an appointment. 

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination can earn an additional 600 points to their Express Entry profile, thereby increasing their chances of receiving an invitation for Canada PR.
