What is the Subclass 801 Visa?

The Australia Subclass 801 Partner Visa is the permanent stage of the onshore partner visa pathway for spouses and de facto partners of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens. Applicants usually become eligible for assessment approximately two years after lodging the combined Subclass 820/801 application and must continue to prove their genuine and ongoing relationship.
